Thank you for your faithful prayer and support. Times are apparently not easy in America right now but still you have been faithfully concerned about the Great Commission. Thank you for your notes and e-mails of encouragement to us and most of all your prayers.
My college students who are learning English are coming along. They just took their mid-term exam, which included memorizing short Bible verses. They seem to be grasping some of the doctrine behind the verses. I have 19 students this semester.

Recently, I had dengue fever. I was quite miserable for about a week with severe nausea, pain, weakness, fatigue, headache, and fever. Thankfully, I have gradually gained my appetite back. After drinking lots of water and getting plenty of rest my body is basically back to normal, just a little thinner (lost 10 lbs.) Occasionally, I still feel the effects of the disease and must spend several hours resting. Many of you who keep up with us by reading our web site knew about this and faithfully prayed for me. I am very grateful to God for helping me through this time.

This has been a season of illness, not only for me, but for many of our church members. Several people have been unable to attend the services because of illness. Thankfully, many of them are well now and have shown themselves faithful.
Saut is getting ready to take over when we leave, and I believe he will do a fine job, but pray for him, as it will definitely stretch him.

With only a few more weeks until furlough we have much to do as far as preparation goes. We have already purchased our tickets, and secured a vehicle, but still need to finish our video presentation, have prayer cards made, etc. Thank you for your continued prayers, and we look forward to seeing you!
